An Elegant and Rare Form Painted Mayan Pot
A large and boldly waisted vessel with rounded bottom and three knobbed feet. The cream and red in bold abstract design. Wonderful condition, an ancient shallow chip at the outside of the top rim and a few tight crack lines. Untouched burial surface. 400-600 AD Totihuacan, Mexico. 8 1/2 inches tall and about 6 inches wide on the top.
