Exceptionally bold head, last half of the 19th century. With animal horn attachment. Natural deterioration on the back of the head and a split at the back of the base, otherwise fine condition. A powerful figure of dense and very heavy wood natural, untouched surface. Ex Massachusetts museum. 47 inches high.
